Speakeasy was graced with a stellar performance by Leon Hendrix, Blumeadows and Up People on Jimi Hendrix’s birthday last Friday. The sounds of Purple Haze shook the club no less than three times, along with tributes by the Hendrix family and other classic and contemporary sounds. We hosted another spectacular house music night with DJ Johnny price on Saturday the 3rd for a great crowd with a lot of college students. We look forward to hearing Johnny’s Chicago-style electronica again!

Sunday night’s benefit for Mike “Bart” Simpson was a smash hit with six bands on stage at 511. Heartless played an electrifying set while models from Renegade Muscle, Tacoma’s classic bike builder, posed for photos and worked the crowd.
